Elaine is a 26" cloth doll who is a member of the Dragon Series. Elaine and Cornelius love to putter in her garden. Elaine's watering can is Cornelius' favorite place to perch.
Her skin is made from hand-dyed, densely woven cotton that allows for fine detailing during needle sculpting. The facial features are hand drawn with oil based pencils and pigment pens. They are set with a matte varnish. All embellishments are hand sewn onto the doll. face is painted with lovely colors.The wings are iridescent mylar and wire so they can be re-positioned in different poses.
Fashioned from the "Anne of the Celtic Mist" pattern, designed by Eleanor Peace Bailey.
Elaine is an art doll and not intended as a child's toy. She was created in a smoke-free environment.
