Art Doll-Chelsea the Mermaid OOAK Cloth Doll
Chelsea collects seashells that she can turn into musical instruments to entertain her friends. Chelsea is a 16" mermaid, whose tail is filled with sand to help create many delightful poses. The hands and fingers are wired as well for more posing possibilities. All the details are hand sewn onto the doll. Her skin is made from hand-dyed Pimatex cotton. This is a densely woven fabric that allows for fine detailing during needle sculpting. Her face is needle sculpted and completed using Prismacolor pencils and pigment pens. It is sealed so that the colors are fixed.
Chelsea is an art doll and not intended as a child's toy. She was created in a smoke-free environment.
